Cleansing Products

cleansing dietHere is a brief list of some of my favorite products that you might like to try.

Powder Cleanses

Whereas Psyllium Husks or other fiber products physically scrape fecal matter out of your colon, these powder cleanses use a chemical process to liquefy and flush it out.

Psyllium/Fiber cleanses

The fiber content of the typical American diet is much too low - usually about half of recommended levels. Psyllium Husk Powder is an way to increase that intake of dietary fiber.

It also plays an important role in maintaining regularity and gastrointestinal health, by physically emptying the contents of your colon. Its a vital part of any cleanse!

All-Natural Cleanses

A refreshing way to clean out your system without introducing more chemicals into your body. Try the Allmighty Cleanse system, it is not cheap but is designed naturally to detoxify and gently enhance the body's natural cleansing process.

Home Cleansing Kits

Home cleansing kits are a safe, effective and cheap way to do a colon cleanse in your own home. While many people prefer the clean and soothing environment of a holistic cleansing center, these kits are a great option for anyone on a smaller budget, or who who would rather go through the process alone

A typical home cleansing kit will include a padded board with legs at one end - the other end sits on your toilet. It will have a reservoir, a flow hose, some proctel tips and perhaps some kind of wall mount for the reservoir.

Enema solutions

There are several types of enema solutions that you can use. The following ingredients often appear in them:

Epsom Salts - a saline laxative that increases the amount of water in the bowel, thereby aiding in bowel movements.
Glycerine - has a laxative effect.
Milk and Honey - perhaps the mildest enema solution.
Sodium Phosphate - the most common enema solution in home cleansing kits.
